Sue is the cornerstone of the Personal Lines division, where she oversees the performance of this vital area of the business. With a career spanning diverse roles within the insurance industry, Sue brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her leadership role.

Sue's journey in the insurance sector began at Zurich Insurance, where she assumed various roles, including sales management and distribution, underwriting, and commercial operations. This extensive experience has laid the foundation for Sue’s comprehensive understanding of the industry. Under Sue's leadership, the organisation continues to set new standards of excellence in the insurance sector, reaffirming our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our customers and broker partners.

As Commercial Lines Director, Keith heads a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service, optimising underwriting performance and driving sustainable growth in Commercial Lines. With a remarkable track record of cultivating robust relationships and a passion for delivering compelling commercial solutions, Keith plays a pivotal role in propelling both our business and the success of our broker partners.

Keith's career in the insurance industry spans over 35 years, including customer-facing leadership and board-level roles for major insurers, establishing himself as a seasoned professional with an innate understanding of the industry's nuances. Keith's dedication to continuous learning is underscored by his achievement of an MBA and Level 5 coaching qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management, highlighting his commitment to promoting leadership excellence within the organisation.

In Stephen’s role as Claims & Operations Director, he has led our Claims and Operations teams since 2021 and achieved outstanding results for our customers and broker partners, which has helped to cement the position of Covéa Insurance as a service leader in the industry. Stephen has Executive responsibility for shaping and implementing our operational and claims strategy.

Stephen has over 20 years of insurance experience. He started his career as a Graduate Trainee with Provident Insurance and over the years, he ascended through various senior management positions, including Claims, Customer Services, Credit Control, Marketing and Sales.

Stephen holds an MBA with Distinction, along with a degree in Business & Management Studies from the University of Bradford. Stephen’s dedication to learning is mirrored in his ACII qualification, earning him Chartered Insurer status. He also represents Covea Insurance sitting as a Board Member for Thatcham Research, the automotive risk intelligence company which supports the UK insurance market.

As Director of Pricing, Catherine brings a rich history of contributing to the insurance industry and a proven track record of leadership. Catherine is instrumental in ensuring Covéa Insurance continues to thrive in a competitive landscape, offering pricing solutions that provide genuine value to customers whilst also driving long-term sustainable business growth.

Catherine's journey in the insurance sector spans over 12 years. Her career took root at Esure, where she ascended to senior roles in personal lines pricing within the aggregator market. Catherine's dedication to continuous learning and professional development is evident in her achievements. She is an alumni of the prestigious ABI Future Leaders Programme, showcasing her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and leadership best practices.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Chief People Officer. With a career spanning over three decades in the insurance industry, Lisa is instrumental in shaping our people strategy that drives success in creating an inclusive culture that promotes and values diversity; enabling our people to be confident to stand out and belong.

Lisa's journey in the insurance sector began in 1992 initially in roles in claims, joining Provident Insurance in 1995, where she embarked on a career that would lead her through various roles in Claims, Operations, Learning and Development, HR and as a member of the Executive leadership team. Lisa is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), underscoring her dedication to the highest industry standards. Additionally, Lisa holds a postgraduate degree in Organisational Development and Design. Lisa is also a qualified MBTI practitioner and ILM 7 Executive Coach. Her passion and commitment is to developing, coaching and nurturing our diverse talent to drive internal mobility and progression opportunities for everyone.

Nick is responsible for leading company-wide transformation and strategic initiatives. He joined Covea in 2017 and has held several leadership roles in product management, transformation and design.

Nick has more than 20 years’ of experience in Strategy, Transformation and Change, including 12 years within the insurance sector. Before this Nick worked for a global management consultancy across multiple sectors, specialising in operational and people change. Nick is a passionate proponent of design thinking approaches to problem-solving and has led multiple award-winning initiatives. Nick has a degree in Business Management, an MBA from Manchester Business School and has studied Design Thinking at MIT.

Claire, a qualified French actuary, joined Covéa Insurance as Chief Financial Officer in late 2023, bringing with her three decades of industry experience.

Starting her career at Allianz France in actuarial science, Claire transitioned to Finance roles at Allianz France, CNP Assurances, Generali France, and SCOR. Notably, she played a pivotal role in projects such as implementing Solvency II at Generali France or the IFRS9 standard at SCOR. Claire's diverse expertise paired with her wealth of knowledge gained over an extensive career makes her a valuable addition to Covéa Insurance’s leadership team.

Emeric de Souance, an accomplished risk and insurance professional, brings over two decades of experience to his role as Chief Risk Officer at Covéa UK. His journey commenced in risk modelling at AXA in Paris and evolved into a pivotal role in implementing Solvency II at PwC, Prudential plc, and RSA plc in London. Emeric's tenure at Allianz, initially in Munich's central risk team and later as Chief Risk Officer for Allianz France, refined his strategic acumen.

As a valuable member of Covéa's Executive Committee, he advocates for a strong risk framework, drawing upon his extensive knowledge of the UK insurance industry. His leadership is poised to strengthen Covéa's growth trajectory in this ever-evolving insurance sector.
