Growing our Relationship Management Team

David Brown, our Distribution, Proposition and Agency Leader, talks about our new remote relationship management team.

In July 2018 we announced some changes to our Commercial and High Net Worth business and our intention to get closer to all of our brokers. Many brokers have a dedicated Development Manager and underwriters on hand to support the relationship which will continue, however, there are also brokers where in the past, for a variety of reasons, we haven’t developed their agencies to their full potential.

Going forward we aim to redefine the way we trade with these brokers who don’t currently have significant levels of engagement with us, enabling us to actively work together to help develop their agency and their own business in tandem.

We’re taking the first steps on that journey by building a brand new relationship management team, which will open for business on February 7th. From day one the team will be using different methods of contact with our brokers, including video conferencing; and we’ll be developing innovative and collaborative technologies in the future, to develop stronger, better relationships and have a clear focus on helping more brokers grow their business and generate opportunities for us at Covéa Insurance.

We think this is a fantastic opportunity and we’re really excited about getting started!
