Introducing Carolyn Callan
Commercial Lines and HNW Director
I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Carolyn Callan and I've recently taken over from Simon Cooter as Commercial Lines and HNW Director at Covéa Insurance.
I joined the business in November 2017 as Head of SME & Schemes, and I have spent the past 18 months working alongside Sara Simmons as part of the Commercial & HNW leadership team. Prior to that I spent many years on the broking side of the fence.
My first foray into insurance was with a start-up - the direct broking operation, Premierline (now Premier Business Care) where I was part of the senior management team. I then spent many years at Swinton Insurance, where I was responsible for establishing and building their Commercial insurance division which included a connected personal lines team servicing mid and high net worth clients. More recently I was Business Development & Marketing Director at Towergate. So, I can assure you I have first-hand experience of the challenges that brokers face in developing and sustaining a profitable business in an ever-changing and very competitive market and understand the importance of working with insurer partners who support your business.
I'm delighted and extremely proud to be leading the Covéa Insurance HNW team going forward - I admire the strength of the HNW team and how everyone in it is totally focused on delivering exceptional service, underpinned by market-leading products and who take great pride in building and maintaining close and long-standing relationships with our broker partners. I look forward to meeting with you over the coming months - I'll no doubt meet some of you at BIBA - and to discussing future opportunities for Covéa Insurance to support your business.
If you are going to BIBA, have a great time and do come and say hi to the HNW team on stand C50! In the meantime thank you for your support so far this year, I have received so many positive messages from our brokers that I am excited for the year ahead!
-Ends-
