Growing our Development Solutions Team

David Brown, our Distribution, Proposition and Agency Leader, talks about our new Development Solutions team.

In July 2018 we announced some changes to our Commercial and High Net Worth business and our intention to get ever closer to all of our brokers. Many brokers have a dedicated Development Manager and underwriters on hand to support the relationship and this will continue, but we know there are brokers out there that we can support in different ways to maximise their growth potential.

Going forward we aim to redefine the way we trade with these brokers who don’t currently have significant levels of engagement with us, enabling us to actively work together to help develop their agency and their own business in tandem. We took the first steps on that journey by building a brand new Development Solutions team, which opened for business on the 7^th February. From day one the team will be using different methods of contact with our brokers, including video conferencing; and we’ll be developing innovative and collaborative technologies in the future, to develop stronger, better relationships and have a clear focus on helping more brokers grow their business and generate opportunities for us at Covéa Insurance.
