Family friendly benefits
Everyone is different and that means we have very different needs in terms of working schedules, reward and benefits. We want Covéa Insurance to be a great place to work and that’s why we have created a range of family friendly benefits to support you throughout your career with us.
Maternity (inclusive of statutory provisions)
- 1st 6 weeks of your maternity leave at full pay and 24 weeks at 50% of your salary.
- £100 high street vouchers on returning to work.
- Family day on us – take an additional day of annual leave within 12 months of returning to work after maternity leave.
- Brilliant to be back bonus - £500 bonus paid after you have been back at work for 3 months.
Shared Parental Leave
- Opportunity for parents to share some of the maternity leave benefits.
Paternity (inclusive of statutory provisions)
- 6 weeks at full pay for fathers, partners or adopters so that they can be at home during the first few weeks after the birth of their child.
Adoption and Surrogacy (inclusive of statutory provisions)
- 6 weeks full pay after 26 weeks’ service.
- 24 weeks 50% pay after 26 weeks of service.
- The right to up to 52 weeks’ leave and the relevant statutory adoption pay.
Flexible working (available to everyone)
- Working compressed hours and reducing the amount of days you work.
- Job sharing with another employee e.g. working 2.5 days each.
- Reducing the number of days/hours worked.
- Changes to your place of work.
Bereavement & Compassionate Leave
- Employees can take compassionate leave following the death of a loved one. We ask them to work with their line manager to agree the appropriate time off, depending on their individual circumstances.
