Mental Health in the Workplace

At Covéa Insurance we want to help break the silence and end the stigma around mental health in the workplace.

As part of the Diversity and Inclusion programme, we have established a mental health work stream. It’s called Covéa Minds. Covéa Minds aims to create a culture at work where people can be open and honest about where they are in life and where to go to get support if they need it. We want to raise awareness of mental health at work, giving it the same importance as our physical health and making it the norm to talk about it.

That’s why we have signed the Time to Change Employer Pledge. This is a commitment to changing the way we think and act about mental health at every level of the organisation. Our Executive sponsor, Simon Cooter, signed the pledge during Mental Health Awareness Week 2018 and committed us to following through on the  Mental Health Action Plan we have developed.

Time to Change is England’s biggest programme to challenge mental health stigma and  discrimination and is run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.
