How do I find a broker?
To find a local broker best suited to your insurance requirements please:
- Visit BIBA’s website: www.biba.org.uk/find-insurance
You will be able to perform a nationwide search by entering the type of insurance you need and providing your postcode.

How do I get a quote?
You will need to contact a broker directly to obtain a quote, as all of our products are distributed exclusively through brokers. To find a local broker best suited to your insurance requirements please:

How do I amend, renew or cancel my policy?
If you need to amend, renew or cancel your policy, please contact the broker, intermediary or company that arranged your insurance in the first instance, to deal with your request.
If you have a Personal Protection policy (e.g. personal accident, sickness, short term income protection) then please refer to your policy documents for contact details.
How do I get help with my insurance payments?
If you find yourself needing extra support with your insurance payments, then help is available for you. You can contact the broker or intermediary who arranged your insurance to discuss your circumstances and options. We also provide further help and information around cost of living and financial support here.
How do I get a copy of my insurance documents?
Please contact the broker or company that arranged your insurance if you need a copy of your insurance documents.
Please note most policy documents can also be found on our website within the Products & Services section of our website.
Claims
How do I make a claim?
To ensure your claim is handled quickly and efficiently our wide range of products have dedicated contacts details and specific processes.
If you’d like to report a Household claim please click here.
For any other claims please visit our Claims page where you will find the relevant contact details for the type of policy you hold with us.
The claims section of our website will inform you:
- How to report a claim
- What you will need to provide (e.g. policy number, supporting documents, details of the incident and anything else relevant to the claim)

How do I get proof of my no claims?
Please contact the broker or company that arranged your insurance to get a copy of your insurance certificate and proof of no claims bonus details.
Fraud Concerns
I have a question regarding fraud
If you suspect someone of insurance fraud you can call the Insurance Fraud Bureau on 0800 422 0421.
Alternatively, should you wish to speak with us directly about possible fraudulent activity, please contact us.
Why do I have your company details on my credit check?
Unfortunately there is no way of preventing anyone from applying for a quote, especially if this was done via an online comparison site rather than directly with us. This may be why there is a result showing from Covéa Insurance.
Quotations only run a soft search that shouldn’t have any effect on your credit score itself, however we appreciate you don’t want it showing at all if it is fraudulent. The process is for you to open a dispute with your credit company then they will seek our approval and remove the footprint.
