Since October 2020 we have been proud to offer SignLive to our BSL using customers

We're delighted to partner with SignLive to help communicate with our British Sign Language (BSL) using customers. 

Using SignLive, customers will be able to handle insurance claims, from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) through to repair or settlement.

This service is available for claims across our Home, Motor, Life, Protection and Business Insurance products. 

The SignLive Community Directory is FREE, and allows BSL users to contact businesses and organisations who are registered with SignLive – including Covéa.

 There are a few simple steps to follow:

  • Download the SignLive app to your smartphone or tablet, or visit for web access.
  • Register for a SignLive account, using an email address, Google or Facebook.
  • Once your account details have been confirmed you can login using your username and password.
  • You will find Covéa Insurance listed in the Community Directory, with direct lines to our various claims teams and you can call us by pressing the green button.
  • This will connect you to a BSL interpreter who can relay the telephone call.

We're really proud to be working with SignLive! We wanted to partner with them because they are an organisation with over a decade of experience in delivering interpreting services to the deaf community. They understand the concerns of our customers who are deaf and we're excited to be able to bring another level of service to our British Sign Language using customers.
