Covéa Insurance announce new Commercial Lines & HNW Director

Covéa Insurance has today announced the appointment of Carolyn Callan as its new Commercial Lines & HNW Director. Her appointment will be with effect from 1st May and is subject to FCA and PRA approval. Carolyn will also join the Executive Committee.

Carolyn joined Covéa in November 2017 as Head of SME & Schemes.  She has many years’ leadership experience in insurance, starting as Marketing Director for the startup business Premierline.  Carolyn then led the launch, development and growth of the commercial division of Swinton as Director of Commercial Insurance.  More recently, she was responsible for business development and marketing strategy for Towergate’s SME and Advisory Broking operation.  She has a track record of successfully growing businesses through building strong, mutually beneficial relationships and maintaining a clear focus on the needs of the end customer.

Carolyn succeeds Simon Cooter who will leave the business in August 2019.  Until then Simon will work with Carolyn to ensure a smooth transition, with a clear focus on ensuring continuity for broker partners, customers and the Covéa team.
