Covéa Insurance appoints Chris Withers as Real Estate Leader

Covéa Insurance has appointed Chris Withers as Real Estate Leader in a move designed to increase its impact and presence in the commercial property market. The intention is to use the strong foundations the company has built with its Property Owners product to expand into the real estate market and forms part of a wider business plan to grow the commercial portfolio.

Chris has a wealth of experience in this sector, having previously been Regional Director for RSA’s Property Investors Unit before joining Covéa Insurance. Using his previous experience and that of others within the team, Chris will operate across the UK and work with brokers to ensure that Covéa Insurance is recognised as a serious player in this market.

In addition Covéa Insurance has appointed Gareth Roberts as Senior Regional Underwriter (Real Estate) into their London office. Gareth joins from Axa and brings with him over ten years of Real Estate expertise to help Covéa Insurance target, win and retain portfolios of property owners business.
