5th February
Covéa Insurance is pleased to announce that it has appointed Aaron Jeffries to the newly created role of Apprenticeship Levy Lead. Aaron will be responsible for maximising the value of the apprentice levy to develop tangible and exciting routes to qualification that attract and recruit diverse talent and support the organic growth of talent within Covéa Insurance.
Aaron has been with the insurer since 2010 and worked as a Learning & Development partner for the past three years.
Director of HR & Learning Lisa Meigh commented;
“We’re passionate about creating an environment in which all of our employees can thrive and achieve their full potential, whether that’s new apprentices just starting out on their career journey, or existing employees who want to develop their skills. We’ve already laid down solid foundations for the Levy; and Aaron will be responsible for building on these to ensure that our people can reach their true potential through a variety of engaging and supportive learning pathways .”
Covéa Insurance has been a vocal supporter of the Apprenticeship Levy since it was announced, and was one of the first insurers to implement a robust plan to maximise the benefits of the scheme. Since the implementation it has welcomed 16 new apprentices across a variety of roles and 24 existing employees are undergoing a new leadership training course in Q1 of this year.
