Covéa Insurance appoints new commercial Field Underwriter

Covéa Insurance has expanded its Southern regional presence with the appointment of Steph Butler to the role of Field Underwriter. The role will focus on delivering underwriting solutions for small and mid sized businesses with the aim of supporting profitable growth of the company’s commercial account.
Having recently completed a secondment as Business Development Manager in the Reading office, Steph gained valuable experience, as well as establishing strong working relationships with brokers, that will be of benefit in her new role
Speaking about her appointment, Keith Hector, who heads up Covéa Insurance’s Southern Regional Team, said;
“As an experienced successful underwriter from our Reading Regional office, and having worked previously for a regional broker, Steph brings a real understanding of the commercial market. She made a big impact during her secondment and we already have a number of brokers keen to work with her to develop joint trading opportunities.”
