Covéa Insurance appoints Phil Bird to head its Personal Lines Department

Covéa Insurance has secured another senior industry figure by hiring Phil Bird, former Underwriting and Claims director at Groupama, to head its Personal Lines Underwriting Department.

Phil joins Covéa Insurance with over 30 years of service within the insurance industry. He spent 7 years at Groupama before moving on to roles at the Motor Insurance Bureau and the Insurance Fraud Bureau and most recently running his own brokerage business. He has also sat on a number of ABI committees covering a broad range of insurance disciplines.
