Covéa Insurance customers to get faster claims settlements with new digital service

Covéa Insurance is delighted to announce it has introduced a new digital service to provide motor customers with faster payment on total loss claims. Developed in collaboration with Service Certainty, Autoset is a convenient online service that allows motor insurance customers to interact with their claim digitally.

Using Autoset, customers receive an SMS link that provides all essential information about their claim, including images and data used by engineers to assess the vehicle’s value. Customers can review this and accept a settlement without the need to speak to an insurer. The system is flexible, transparent and convenient, with customer being able to respond to the SMS self-serve link at a time suitable for them. There’s also the facility for them to upload their own vehicle images and add information to the claim, should they wish.

If preferred customers can still speak to a claims handler over the phone and benefit from faster settlement speeds, thanks to the increased data handling efficiencies Autoset provides. Whether online or on the phone, Autoset allows total loss claims to be settled faster, putting customers back in the position they were in before the accident with as little disruption as possible.
