Covéa Insurance Engineers raise the bar for Audatex training

14th October

Covéa Insurance engineersAudatex, the global risk and asset management software and service provider, has worked closely with Covéa Insurance, a member of one of Europe’s leading mutual insurance groups, to create a bespoke, modular training programme with the aim of setting a new industry benchmark for the Audatex Certificate in Assessment Construction and Audit. A team of 18 Covéa Insurance Claims Motor Engineers undertook the training programme and every attendee achieved a ‘distinction’ pass, resulting in an industry first. This outstanding achievement is a reflection of the underlying professionalism, dedication and hard work of everyone involved with the programme.

Underpinning the success of the training programme was a detailed online Training Needs Analysis exercise conducted by Audatex to enable it to understand the objectives of the individuals taking part in the training. This resulted in bespoke sessions being created, to ensure the exact training needs of everyone were met. To achieve a ‘distinction’, candidates had to achieve a score of 92.5% or higher across a challenging series of theory, assessment construction and audit tests.

Alastair Sherwin, Claims Motor Engineers Team Manager for Covéa Insurance, comments: “I’ve always been confident that our engineers are amongst the very best in the industry and to achieve such an outstanding result really highlights this. It’s impressive enough for the whole operational team to achieve a distinction, but to be the first insurer ever to achieve this is truly exceptional.”

Layton Davies, National Sales Manager for Audatex, explains:

“Audatex harnesses its global technology to drive efficiencies within the claims market, delivering seamless front end solutions for bodyshops and insurers alike. These services are tailored to their specific business processes, including expert training for insurers and their engineers.

“It’s extremely encouraging to see forward-thinking customers like Covéa Insurance invest in bespoke training and Audatex’s expertise, to help them operate best practice and improve their customer support. Working closely together, over several months, we created a ‘best in class’ training programme for Covéa Insurance, ensuring staff were engaged and their specific needs were catered for. Crucially, this approach resulted in minimal disruption to the Motor Claims Engineer Team’s department, ensuring it continued to achieve its daily targets.”

By breaking down complex processes and exploring how digital technology can further simplify these practices, Audatex ensures bodyshops continue to operate to the highest standards in the future, improving customer support, satisfaction and ultimately retention.
