Covéa Insurance joins motor manufacturers’ insurance alliance as Verex Group panel member
1 November 2021
Covéa Insurance is delighted to announce a new partnership with Verex Group, the market leader in dedicated connected car insurance and accident management services. The partnership will enable customers to buy manufacturer branded motor insurance, at the same time as purchasing a new or used vehicle from the 16 manufacturers in the Verex alliance.
Covéa Insurance joins an existing panel of insurance underwriters to provide broader capacity, in particular, to address market growth in electric vehicles.
Sue Coffey, Director, Personal Lines Distribution at Covéa Insurance said: “Our strategic partnership with Verex will deliver an opportunity for us to compete in a different intermediated space, offering an all-encompassing product with an organisation committed to providing a first-class service across numerous different car manufacturing brands.”
The innovative solution offered by Verex Group makes insurance seamless for customers by automating the process between insurers and the vehicle manufacturer. Supported by digital journeys, mobile and self-service apps, the proposition continues to provide customers with additional support when they need it most.
Mark Aryaeenia, Group CEO at Verex, said, “We are delighted to have extended our panel to include Covéa insurance who previously were the underwriter of the recently acquired Nissan brand. It’s great to partner with an organisation like Covéa who are totally supportive of our progressive approach to insurance and put the customer at the heart of everything they do.”
