Covéa Insurance nominated for four industry awards!

Local employer, Covéa Insurance, is thrilled to have been shortlisted for four prestigious insurance industry awards at the forthcoming Insurance Times Awards in December. The nominations are for; Customer Champion of the Year, Insurer Claims Initiative of the Year, Insurer Innovation of the Year and Training, Excellence and Impact – Insurer.

All four awards nominations relate to customer service initiatives and represent significant investment made by the company in training, career progression and improving the claim process.

Two of the awards relate to the company’s home claims insourcing programme, an initiative to bring the handling of all home claims in-house that saw the creation of forty new jobs and the implementation of a unique training programme to support the development of new employees.

The “Training, Excellence and Impact” and “Insurer Claims Initiative of the Year” awards recognise the company’s commitment to recruiting and training new staff and to creating a more streamlined and efficient process for the customer. One new member of the Home Claims team commented:

“It’s a long, long time since I’ve woken up each day and actually looked forward to going into work, but that’s exactly how I feel now.”

The comprehensive training reflects the company’s drive to recruit, train and retain talented, highly motivated individuals to deliver a high quality claim service.

The two other award nominations relate to Covéa Insurance’s development of its motor insurance claim process, where it has made use of the latest mobile technology to make it easier and quicker for customers to get their claims paid, creating significant improvements both in customer service and efficiency.
