Covéa Insurance partners with the RSPCA

Covéa Insurance is delighted to announce expansion of its pet proposition with news it is partnering with the UK’s largest and most respected animal welfare charity, the RSPCA.  The partnership will see the insurer providing insurance products designed exclusively for animal-loving cat and dog owners.

The Covéa Insurance pet policy for RSPCA has been designed to meet a variety of needs and budgets. It offers varying cover levels, no upper age limit for pets and covers all breeds apart from those listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act.   It is supported by a high-quality UK based claims service, many of whom are ex-veterinary staff, and includes well-considered benefits such as waiving remaining owed premiums if a beloved pet passes away, and cover for cremations and burials. 

Supporting the RSPCA’s values of promoting kindness and alleviating suffering for all animals, the Covéa Insurance product uniquely includes a benefit for sick and neglected animals with no insurance; for every policy sold, 15% of the price paid will go directly towards caring for these less fortunate animals.

In addition, Covéa Insurance is providing short term, free-of charge insurance to anyone who re-homes a cat or dog through the RSPCA.
