Covéa Insurance strengthens Micro SME team with new appointment

20th January

Covéa Insurance announces a further development to its Commercial Lines team with the promotion of Ian Newman to the newly created role of Commercial Lines Development Consultant. Ian’s appointment will bring added focus and resource to the company’s Commercial Lines projects and e-trading partners, enabling them to further strengthen their SME proposition.

Building on other recent appointments to the Commercial Lines team, this latest development further demonstrates the company’s ambition and commitment to grow their Commercial Lines business. Responsible for enhancing relationships and solutions with some of the company’s key e-trading partners, Ian will use his extensive market knowledge to develop market leading propositions.

Tim Grant, Micro SME Leader, Covéa Insurance commented:

"Ian brings invaluable skills and expertise to this new role. With almost 20 years’ experience, and having worked for both an insurer and a broker, Ian has a great understanding of what partners want from an e-trading proposition and what an insurer needs to do to meet those requirements."

Ian added,

“This really is an exciting opportunity for me and I am looking forward to building long term relationships with our key broker partners and working with Tim to continue the development of our Micro SME proposition for the benefit of those partners.”
