Covéa Insurance wins Personal Lines Insurer of the Year
21st December 2015
Covéa Insurance received an early Christmas present this year when, along with its sister company Sterling Insurance, it picked up the prestigious Personal Lines Insurer of the Year Award. The award was presented to Covéa Insurance’s chief executive, James Reader, at a glittering ceremony in London, hosted by TV favourite David Walliams. (pictured)
The award rounds off an incredibly successful year for the business which has grown significantly, having joined forces with Kent-based Sterling at the start of the year. Covéa Insurance’s success reflects its commitment to customer service right across its operation, as it becomes an increasingly significant player in the UK insurance market.
Editor of leading industry publication, Insurance Times and Chair of the judging panel, Saxon East, commented on the company’s popularity with independent insurance brokers and intermediaries, which led to it winning the award:
“Covéa Insurance and Sterling won a large number of votes from brokers, proving it is a favourite in the intermediary space. Furthermore, it once again dominated the service rankings in our Broker Service Survey. This company has undergone significant change, yet has emerged as an even more customer-focused business.”
James Reader, CEO of Covéa Insurance (pictured) shared his delight in winning the award saying:
“We are incredibly proud to have won this significant award, which is testament to the fantastic achievements of the people within our business. We are proud to receive recognition from our brokers for our ongoing commitment to delivering great service, this remains a key priority for us”
