Engineering with added distinction - Covéa Insurance engineers receive reaccreditation

Covéa Insurance is pleased to announce that its engineers have become the first in the industry to achieve a “distinction” for the second year in a row during a certification process with global risk and asset management provider, Audatex.

Following the success of their 2015 training and recertification programme, Covéa Insurance has worked closely with Audatex to create a bespoke, modular training programme with the aim of improving on the industry benchmark for the Audatex Certificate in Assessment Construction and Audit that was set last year.

Every operational member of the insurer’s Claims Motor Engineers team undertook the training programme with each one receiving a ‘distinction’ pass, showcasing the talent, commitment and tenacity of the team.

Underpinning the success of the training programme was a detailed online Training Needs Analysis exercise conducted by Audatex to enable it to understand the objectives of the individuals taking part in the training. This resulted in bespoke sessions being created, to ensure the exact training needs of everyone were met. To achieve a ‘distinction’, candidates had to achieve a score of 92.5% or higher across a challenging series of theory, assessment construction and audit tests.
