Further strengthening of regional trading teams

Covéa Insurance has announced a number of senior commercial lines appointments to further strengthen the company’s regional trading capability.
In the North, Martin Hyde joins from Arista as Regional Underwriting Manager for the company’s Newcastle and Glasgow regional offices; Suzanne Thomas joins from UK General as Senior Underwriter for the North East area and Anthony Leonard, from AXA, joins the company’s Manchester regional office as Motor Trade Regional Underwriter.
In the South, Nick Cook and Steve Chinn have been promoted to Regional Underwriting Managers for the company’s Chelmsford and Reading regional offices respectively, with Bill George, ex Aviva, joining as Business Development Manager for the South.
These appointments are the latest in the company’s ambitious recruitment drive as it continues to invest in its capabilities to create new trading opportunities in the regional mid-market commercial sector and develop its schemes and micro SME business.
