Personal Lines- New Leadership Appointments

Covéa Insurance is delighted to announce two senior leadership appointments. Sue Coffey has been promoted to Director of Intermediated Distribution, Personal Lines and Gary Yeates has been promoted to Director of Pricing & Underwriting, Personal Lines. Both Sue and Gary will report to John Blundell, who, as part of his new role as Deputy CEO, will take Executive responsibility for the company’s intermediated personal lines business.

These leadership appointments are central to the on-going development of the company’s personal lines broker relationships and the continued profitable growth of Covéa Insurance’s personal lines business.

Commenting on the new appointments, John Blundell said:

"We’re establishing a structure that fosters even closer working relationships between our distribution, product development, underwriting and pricing functions so that we can continue to develop and build our technical capabilities to deliver even stronger solutions for our broker partners.

“Sue and Gary, with their extensive market experience, are ideally placed to lead these teams and will ensure we continue to provide the best possible service to our broker partners, and take full advantage of the increased opportunities available to us as a result of the integration of our businesses.”

Covéa Insurance and Sterling are currently pursuing a Part VII transfer which will see all policies underwritten by Sterling Insurance Company transferred into Covéa Insurance. The process is expected to complete on 31st December 2015.
