The LeakBot device simply clips on to your home’s internal stop tap pipe and connects via WiFi. LeakBot’s patented Thermi-Q technology accurately measures both the air and water temperatures in the home. If there is a leak it will continually draw colder water from outside into the home, creating a consistent drop in temperature. LeakBot can sense the prolonged and consistent drop in temperature and will alert you to the problem.

  • Where a report is produced following a Find and Fix visit, Homeserve may send us a copy of these reports which will include:
    • Customer details;
    • Imagery of the location of the LeakBot device, the heating installation at the property, any water damage incurred or areas of the property that are susceptible to water damage.
  • Homeserve may provide us with information from the LeakBot device to:
    • Allow us to identify where a device has been installed, if any leaks have been alerted, how individual customers choose to respond to those alerts, and if those alerts have been resolved.
    • Allow us to identify patterns with leak alerts and escape of water claims which will improve how we price for escape of water risks by enhancing our pricing model.
  • Any data provided to us by Homeserve will be retained for the timescales set out within our privacy policy which can be found at https://www.coveainsurance.co.uk/privacy-policy/
  • This offer will be governed by English law and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts in case of any disputes arising from this offer.
